Backup and Recovery
You may have some utterly disgusting individual who attempts and succeeds in compromising your system. Let's be honest: we understand and appreciate that the retro community recognises there are many known attack vectors in older network stacks. Buffer overflows or direct access to known vulnerabilities will be available to any user of this system.
One potential option for us is apathy and resignation to the fact that some people get a kick out of hurting others. Make a 'Golden Image' of your system. Be prepared to perform a full recovery of this backup to restage your system. BlueSCSI, IDE to CF adaptors...do whatever is easier. Even discdupe (dd) or tar your data files. You 100% do not want to lose your precious system just because some disgusting clown thinks they are clever using a script written by someone way more intelligent than they will ever be.
