nSolo and nColo
Supporting your retro system on a collaborative platform was Nekotopia's initial and foremost goal. We achieved that, and access to the shared VPN system and any services shared by platform patrons are free of charge.
If users of the platform want to share their home lab outside Torus, we offer public IPv4 address services.
- 1:1 NAT
- Where we terminate a public IP address at the AWS VPC edge. The public address is terminated onto our equipment, and a DNAT is assigned to the private address on the remote WireGuard endpoint.
- The 1:1 is purely operated by the Torus patron and is not shared by any other patron or service.
- Fully Routed
- Where the service subscriber is assigned a public IPv4 prefix in the range of /29 to /32.
- There is no NAT involved whatsoever, and the service subscriber is responsible for terminating the public prefix.
- Unlike the 1:1 service, the routed service is not protected by the Torus headend equipment and no controls are made available within the user dashboard to permit/deny access to those routed resources.
NOTE: Each IPv4 address has a real cost to the platform. Availability is limited - please check the Pro-level terms and conditions before subscribing.
