Creating Your Account

Getting Started

Joining Nekotopia takes just a few minutes. Here's how to create your account and get connected to the Torus network.

Step 1: Request an Account

1. Visit nekotopia.io
2. Click "Join the Torus" in the navigation
3. Fill in the registration form:
   • Username - Must be unique (you'll be prompted if it's taken)
   • Email - Required for verification only. We will never send marketing emails or share your address.
   • Password - Choose something secure
4. Click "Connect Account"

Step 2: Verify Your Email

Within a few minutes, you'll receive an email from noreply@nekotopia.io. Click the "Verify Email Address" button in that email.

Check your spam folder if you don't see it within 5 minutes.

Step 3: Wait for Approval

Account requests are reviewed manually. Most approvals happen within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email when your account is ready.

Step 4: Download Your VPN Configuration

Once approved:

1. Log into your Dashboard
2. Navigate to VPN Configuration
3. Download your .conf file
4. Import it into WireGuard on your device or router

Step 5: Test Your Connection

After connecting, verify everything works by visiting the Torus Echo test page. If you see "Connection Successful" - you're in!

What You Get

All new accounts start without Torus access. You can register your interest in a Torus account once you are logged in. 

• Public and private IP addresses are available
• Access to other members' shared services
• Ability to share your own services with the community
• Limited bandwidth allocation

Need more features? You can request an upgrade to Plus or Pro directly from your dashboard. Access to new tier functionality is automatic; subscriptions follow an honor-based subscription model. You may upgrade and downgrade freely within the tiers. Subscriptions are requested when you upgrade to Plus and Pro. Failure to register a subscription may result in the downgrade of your tier. Repeated misuse may result in the termination of your Torus account.
